Home & Colonial, established in 1997, is considered to be one of the UK’s most attractive and innovative antiques and interiors shops and is often described as the ‘Liberty’s of Berkhamsted’.

We are a collective of 30 specialist antique dealers under one roof, most of whom have been involved with the business for the past 12 years. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff help to create a unique and relaxed atmosphere and we pride ourselves on the quality and range of stock available with something to suit everyone’s taste. Our stock is constantly changing so if you see something you are interested in, please give us a ring to discuss how we can help you.

We are located in the historic market town of Berkhamsted which has much to offer for a day out – not only is it very close to the National Trust’s Ashridge Forest, it also has a lovely canal, ancient castle and many historic houses. There are many other specialist independently owned shops, as well as the renowned ‘Rex’ cinema.

Berkhamsted is approximately 45 minutes from Central London and very close to both the M1 (J8) and the M25 (J20). There is good parking close to the shop and a loading area just outside. Click here for directions and contact details.
